BENIDORM BEACHES

Starting with the most interesting 3 beaches: Poniente, Levante and Cala Mal Pas. We say that they are the ones that will interest you the most because they are the main beaches of the town, the most accessible, those that have most services, which you can reach on foot from any point of the town and where you can also enjoy a promenade with plenty of atmosphere.

Levante Beach Benidorm

The Levante beach is Benidorm’s most internationally well known beach. This is due to the fact that along its 2 km length from ‘Pinet Point’ to ‘Canfali’ Point, there are countless restaurants, bars, pubs, terraces with live music and buildings where the most international atmosphere of Benidorm is concentrated. It is the beach with the greatest atmosphere and is well equipped for children and adults alike. Its orientation also makes it perfect to enjoy the sun from early morning until late afternoon.

In addition to basic services (sun beds, parasol’s, feet showers, wooden paths or children’s climbing frames), on the Levante Beach you can do water activities such as water skiing, diving or ride the famous “banana boat”.

BENIDORM BEACH PONIENTE

Poniente Beach Benidorm

Poniente Beach is the longest beach (3 km), widest and most sandy area of Benidorm. This makes it more spacious and quiet, with an important catalog of services on the sand (beach library, shady areas, sports and games areas with football posts or volleyball nets …). It is the favorite beach for national tourists and it extends from the center of the town to La Cala Benidorm. This beach, in addition, is the one that will offer you the best sunsets.

Within it is the Benidorm harbour where you can take trips to different places by boat, the favorite being Benidorm Island.

Playas Benidorm

Mal Pas Cove Benidorm

Separating Poniente and Levante is a small cove that is called Mal Pas. Its scarce 120m length make this beach a favorite for moms and dads to go with children. From it you will enjoy the beautiful views offered by ‘El Castillo of Benidorm’ above your head and the island occupying the horizon. In addition, since 1987 this cove has the blue flag of distinctive quality.

BEACH MAL PAS BENIDORM

But, in addition to the 3 main beaches, Benidorm hides two small treasures. At the foot of the Serra Helada you can find Tío Ximo Cove and Almadrava Cove. If you do not have a car, getting to them will be a bit more complicated but we assure you that it will be worth it, even if it is a quick visit.

Benidorm Coves: Almadrava

Cala Almadrava is a paradisiacal cove around 100m long where you can relax and enjoy the sea surrounded by nature. Crystalline water, fine sand, rocks, aquatic life … a favorite place for many who like to go diving and those who like to escape from the hustle and bustle of the town.

BEACH ALMADRABA BENIDORM

Benidorm Coves: Cala Tio Ximo

Next to Cala Almadrava you can find Cala del Tío Ximo, another treasure that nature has to offer. The smallest (with only 60m long), the rockiest of all the beaches in Benidorm, probably the most spectacular and the only one in which nudity is authorized.
