Benidorm Holidays in May

Benidorm during the month of May is delightful. It’s visitors begin to enjoy the beach 100% thanks to the increasing temperatures of the sea, booking a table on a terrace to have a drink becomes a regular plan, taking more long walks… Life in the town receives a boost of energy and we would like to encourage you to come and see it with your own eyes. In May there is a Spanish national holiday, Mothers Day /Labor day which come as a good excuse to take a break and enjoy a Benidorm holiday.

Theme Parks in Benidorm

May is the month in which the two main amusement parks of Benidorm open their doors ready for you to have some fun. Spend days full of adventure in Terra Mitica from the 18th May. The water park Aqualandia opens its doors on the 26th May meaning that the summer, although officially there are still a few days to go, has already started in Benidorm and you can enjoy its refreshing slides.

Benidorm Beaches

If you want to enjoy the Benidorm beaches but still don’t dare to go in the sea, we suggest you put on some comfortable clothes , take off your shoes and take a long walk along the miles of beach along the seashore. Healthy, comforting and beautiful walk that will leave you a lovely memory of the town.

Jazz music in Benidorm

For music lovers in general and in particular Jazz lovers, a plan not to be missed. Within the Jazz music festival on 4th May you will be able to enjoy the best jazz with Jesús Martinez Quartet in a unique location: The Senyoria Square in the main castle area of Benidorm old town. Can you imagine enjoying the music while you watch the sun go down by the Mediterranean sea.

Benidorm Pink Weekend

From Thursday 25th May to Sunday 27th the Benidorm old town will be painted pink to celebrate the new edition of the Benidorm Pink Weekend. A 72 hour party in the Gay village of the old town, the Castle area will host performances of artists and Dragstars of Benidorm.

Albir seafront

The good weather encourages you to go out and discover new places. We would suggest you take the opportunity to get to know the surrounding areas of Benidorm. The Albir promenade, locally known as the Walk of the stars of Albir. By car it will take you a few minutes to get there, or by bus number 010. On this trip you can stop for an ice cream or cool drink in one of the many chillout bars on the seafront.
