And we all like to stay as long as possible. But sometimes it just can’t be and we have to settle for a quick weekend away. But, listen, is that really a problem? A short break can be fully satisfying with good planning and a full itinerary ! Will you be passing by Benidorm? Do you fancy visiting the town but you don’t have as much time as you would like? Here’s our full itinerary for your one day visit to Benidorm, so you can enjoy what the town has to offer.

You can see Benidorm by bus, tourist train, bike or even by boat along the coast, but without a doubt the best way is on foot. The good weather always joins us, making a walk the most enjoyable way. On the other hand the size of the town (not as big as a city and not as small as a village) makes it possible and convenient. The sea views, even if it’s just for a few hours, will make you fall in love with the town.

Our route starts at the Town Hall Square (Plaza de SSMM los Reyes de España) where you will find a curious horizontal building. If you fancy a walk through the park from the square you can access the Aiguera Park (Parque de l’Aigüera). Then on towards the old town of Benidorm.

Poniente Beach Benidorm

Take Herrerías Street to the ‘Plaza de la Cruz’ the meeting point for most dates. ‘El Paseo de la Carreterra, commonly known as ‘the walking Street’ is one of the busiest streets of Benidorm frequented by locals and tourists it will take you to the Parque de Elche, known by some as the ‘Dove Park’ .
